Dresser Rand Air Compressor

Purpose: Optimization Test
A team of artists built the individual models for this Air Compressor. I worked on some of the modeling (Frame Extension and 5th Stage Liner). This model was made very high poly to be used with Ngrain. For Sketchfab I reduced the poly count from 7.7 million across 1300 objects to 4.1 million across 22 objects. I UV wrapped everything and texture in Substance Painter. This process took about a week. I used a combination of 3ds Max and Maya for optimization and UV creation. Rendered with Marmoset Toolbag.
